Bald Eagle
Diet: Fish
Appearance: Brown, white, yellow, black (ish)

Habitat: North America, typically United States
Enemies: Humans
Life span: 20-30 years

Bald eagles are illegal to shoot. Don't shoot these beautiful, national birds, or else you'll pay the price by going to prison, even if you don't live in the U.S.!



Golden Eagle
Diet: Hares, rabbits, marmots, squirrels,
Appearance: Dark brown with lightly, golden brown short streaks on their feathers
Weight: 8.9-14.0 pounds

Length: 26-40 inches
Habitat: Africa, Asia, Europe, and most commonly North America
Enemies: Hawks, bears, wolves, cougars, and other birds of prey
Life Span: At least 30 years

Golden Eagles are often silent and rarely make noises.

Habitat: Anywhere in the world except Antarctica
Enemies: Raccoons, opossums, raptors, hawks, eagles, other owls
Life Span: Averagely 4 years

Barn owls do not hoot. Instead, the make a high-pitched scream.
