Harpy eagles take a large role in Greek mythology. It is considered to match the appearance of Hades, the god of the underworld.

Jaguar

Jaguar
Diet: Caimans, deer, peccaries, dogs, capybaras, tapirs, anacondas, frogs, mice, birds, fish, sloths, monkeys, turtles, armadillos
Appearance: Light tan or brown with rings of black spots with darker, brown fur in middle. Only 1 out of 4 jaguars are black. If you look closely, you can see their faded spots. People mistake these for "black panthers", but in the cat world, there are no "panthers". "Black panthers" are actually leopards or jaguars with black fur. Humans rarely ever get to witness this extraordinary event.

Length: 3.9-6.4 feet
Habitat: Central and South America's rainforests
Enemies: Other jaguars, humans
Life Span: 12-15 years

The jaguar is the third largest feline in the world.

Although this strange animal looks related to the zebra (because of its legs' patterns), it is more related to the giraffe. Okapi tongues are amazingly long, which can reach up to clean their eyelids and ears.
